Day 1 : Bangkok

Arrival in Bangkok and welcome, by the guide at the exit door number 4 of the airport (same level as arrival), Total change of scenery frr this day that will have you discover the Grand Palace (Wat Phra Kaew) and the temple of the Emerald Buddha, the protector of the city. Visit of the Wat Pho and the Reclining Buddha. Boat tour on the klongs (canals) in Thonburi. In the evening, transfer to the Thai Fusion restaurant la Table de Tee (http://latabledetee.com )

Day 2 : Bangkok - Dammoen Saduak –Kanchanaburi

Road trip (90 km from Bangkok) to Dammoen Saduak and its colorful floating market, on the way, visit of House of Coconotery. Then to Kanchanaburi. Visit of the impressive WWII military cemetery next to the world-famous River Kwai Bridge, ride on the train of death. Visit of the JEATH museum. Night at you hotel.

Day 3 : Kanchanaburi – Nakhon Pathom - Bang Pa In - Ayutthaya

Visit the Erawan National Park, drive to the city of Nakhon Pathom dating from 150 BC It is here that Buddhism was introduced in the country: visit the PHRA PATHOM CHEDI which does not fail to impress with its imposing mass. This is one of the largest pagoda in Thailand and the world, with its 12.043 meters and 23.475 meters of total width at the base. In the late afternoon, drive to Bang Pa In, the summer palace of the King. Transfer to the hotel. In the evening, visit the night market where you can eat in very good Thai typical restaurants.

Day 4 : Ayutthaya - Kao Yai

Visit the Archaeological Park of Ayutthaya. Departure to Bang Pa In, the summer palace of the King. Arrival at Khao Yai. Transfer to your hotel. In the evening, night ride pick-up in Khao Yai Park to see the animals.

Day 5 : Kao Yai – Phimai - Nakon Ratchasima

Morning tour of the Park Khao Yai. Departure to Phimai. Phimai is the largest Khmer throughout Thailand (one can admire remarkable carved lintels). Visit the charming site of Prasat Phanomwan, perched atop a hill. Recently restored, this temple is smaller than Phimai, but its architecture and its site are particularly interesting. Road to Korat (Nakhon Ratchasima). Transfer to your hotel. Free evening.

Day 6 : Nakon Ratchasima - Phanom Rung - Nakon Ratchasima

Visit Temple of Phanom Rung, south of Buriram, near the Cambodian border. It has a chamber, the walls and door lintels are carved with beautiful patterns in the style of the period of Lopburi with Khmer influence. The beauty of the main monument of Phanom Rung lies not only in his building, but also the beautiful sculptures that cover large parts of the temple. Day 7 : Nakon Ratchasima – Lopburi – Pitsanuloke – Sukhothai

Depart for Sukhothai. On the road Lopburi, the city of monkeys: these are respected and left free around the ruins of a Khmer temple. Visit the Temple in Putachinarat Pitsanuloke. Transfer to your hotel in Sukhothai. Free evening

Day 8 : Sukhothai - Chiang Rai

Morning visit of the National Archeological Park of Sukothai, the oldest capital of Siam (AD 1250-1350) which contains UNESCO-sponsored essential elements of Thailand’s cultural heritage. Among the sites visited will be the temples of Mahathat, Sa Si, Sri Sawai and Si Chum. On to the North. Visit of pinapple fields and stop at Payao lake. Depart for Chiang Rai, visit the white temple (wat rong khun), and transfer to you Hotel. Evening Free.

Day 9 : Chiang Rai - Golden Triangle – Mae Sai

Depart for Mae Sai, on the Burmese border and visit of the Golden Triangle, which is a strategic area from which you will gaze at a unique landscape shared between Thailand, Burma and Laos. Visit of Opium museum and of the Buddha watching the Boat trip on the Mekong River in the Golden Triangle with short stop in Laos. Day 10 : Mae Sai – Mai Salong - Pai

The signs are in Chinese and older people do not speak another language. Yet it is not in China, we are in Thailand! En route visit orangeries. Then transfer to your hotel.

Day 11 : Pai - Mae Hong Son

Day 13 : Chiang Mai - Doï Suthep - handicraft
